Chauffeur Hire Terms

• The New prices are effective from 23-SEP -11
• Prices are exclusive of VAT which is charged at the current UK rate of 20%
• Credit Card Payments will be subjected to a 3% surcharge.
• INVOICES must be paid within 28 days of issue date.
• Bookings may be subjected to additional waiting time, Car Park Charges & Tolls.
• All Online booking fees must be paid in advance.
• For airport pick ups car park surcharge will be applied if driver has to wait for more than one hour. Surcharge is standard hourly rate.
• For road show jobs, all hire charges start from and finish at the offices of UK CHAUFFEURS LTD (herein referred to as 'the Company') based at W1 MAYFAIR. The travel allowances from our offices to the collection point and vice versa are as follows:
  • Central London 30mins.
  • Heathrow & City Airport 1hr.
  • Gatwick, Biggin Hill, Luton, Stanstead & Farnborough Airports 2hrs.
  • Southampton Docks 3hrs.
• Excess will be charged at the prevailing hourly rate.
• Incurred car parking fees will be charged at cost.
• All hire charges are rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes.
• Rates are subjected to alteration without prior notification. All account holders will be notified one month prior to any price increases.
• If it is necessary for our chauffeurs to have overnight accommodation this will be charged at £80.00 within the UK and £100.00 within Europe excluding VAT at the current rate.
• A surcharge of 50% will be added to the current tariff for services provided on bank and public holidays. Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Eve are 100% (Same day bookings incur a 100% charge prior booking is 50 %.)
• In the event where a passenger has an excess of baggage, ‘the Company’ reserves the right to refuse any luggage or property in the car which in our opinion would result in the vehicle being damaged or unsafe to drive on the road.
• ‘The Company’ accepts no responsibility for delays howsoever caused.

Cancellations

• Cancellations received less than 12 hours before the hire period will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made 24 hours before the hire period is subjected to 50% deduction.
• Our Chauffeurs will do their utmost to ensure they are punctual but we cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
